Vinyl lettering is a special adhesive vinyl that is cut directly from a piece of colored material. Unlike clear window decals which are printed to the exact color you need, the material for vinyl lettering only is available in certain colors.
Standard vinyl lettering lasts seven years and premium vinyl lasts eight years before it will begin fading in color, cracking and peeling.
Vinyl stickers can still have shapes cut out of them. In fact, most of our stickers have shapes cut out of them. This cutting process is exactly the same as for decals with one important difference: the blade is set to cut all the way through the vinyl and backing paper rather than just the vinyl.
Vinyl decals have been around a long time, most commonly used in advertising. Printed vinyl is basically what it sounds like, inks are used to print a design onto clear or white vinyl and because of that, printed vinyl can produce a decal that has many multiple colors.
Vinyl Lettering are waterproof, however we can laminate our vinyl stickers to make them more durable. Laminating vinyl will protect it from water, oil and sun. Laminate is an overlay with a layer of plastic which is applied to protect the vinyl from the elements.
Vinyl stickers are obviously stronger and more durable as they do not fade or get damaged by moisture and weather elements unless it is extreme heat.
The biggest impact is if you are using self-colored or digitally printed vinyl. Self-colored vinyl (simple colors) and specialty vinyls that come ready to apply tend to have a decent outdoor lifespan (5-7 years) depending on the manufacturer.
Installation to the main surfaces include wood, plastic, glass, and metal. Position it on your computer, on your car, on your wall, or on your window. As long as the surface is flat, vinyl will stick to it.
Any adhesive decal will lose its adhesive qualities over time. If you’re removing it from a smooth wall, and it isn’t releasing easily, you’ll need to use a heat gun or hair dryer to help the glue release, then you’ll be stretching and/or tearing the vinyl wall stickers.
I came to Signs Market to create a banner as a Christmas gift I wanted to give my Dad and I’m very pleased with the outcome! Zaur was easy to communicate with and made the process very simple so that I was able to get what I wanted within 3 days because I’m a late Christmas shopper.
I absolutely love these guys! Such a great pleasure to work with. I ordered an awning, custom neon sign and some interior signs with banner stand from them and had them installed within 5 days. They showed me different types of fonts for my custom neon signs and took their time to make sure I got what I wanted.
I have to say that I start off with the old owner of this business in the wrong foot. And I ended up going to cross street to do my business somewhere else. However recently I saw Bender saying New ownership and new management so I want to check it out, The new owner was very welcoming and excited seeing me and make me feel very comfortable.
