Custom Window Decal is a window stickers which are usually vinyl window stickers, which are the most popular type of window graphics out there. In simple terms, these are adhesives graphics, glued directly to the glass and other similar surfaces.
Window Decals is a special adhesive vinyl that is cut directly from a piece of colored material. Unlike clear window decals which are printed to the exact color you need, the material for vinyl lettering only is available in certain colors.
Standard Window decals lasts seven years and premium vinyl lasts eight years before it will begin fading in color, cracking and peeling.
Window Decals can still have shapes cut out of them. In fact, most of our decals have shapes cut out of them. This cutting process is exactly the same as for decals with one important difference: the blade is set to cut all the way through the vinyl and backing paper rather than just the vinyl.
Wall decals have been around a long time, most commonly used in advertising. Printed vinyl is basically what it sounds like, inks are used to print a design onto clear or white vinyl and because of that, printed vinyl can produce a decal that has many multiple colors.
Window Decals are waterproof, however we can laminate our vinyl stickers to make them more durable. Laminating vinyl will protect it from water, oil and sun. Laminate is an overlay with a layer of plastic which is applied to protect the vinyl from the elements.
Window Decals are obviously stronger and more durable as they do not fade or get damaged by moisture and weather elements unless it is extreme heat.
Window vinyls comes ready to apply tend to have a decent outdoor lifespan (5-7 years) depending on the manufacturer.
Installation to the main surfaces include wood, plastic, glass, and metal. Position it on your computer, on your car, on your wall, or on your window. As long as the surface is flat, vinyl will stick to it.
Any adhesive decal will lose its adhesive qualities over time. If you’re removing it from a smooth wall, and it isn’t releasing easily, you’ll need to use a heat gun or hair dryer to help the glue release, then you’ll be stretching and/or tearing the vinyl wall stickers.
